My name is Anh and I come from Vietnam. My bachelor degree is study about business statistics. I studied and worked in Ho Chi Minh city. I have 4 years working experience before coming to Taiwan for pursuing the Master degree which is taught in English.



1. What made you decide to study in Taiwan?



The most important thing is the scholarship that I am receiving from my school. That helps me less concern about financial burden. Moreover, school ranking is also the point that I took into account before submitting application. And the similarities in culture between Taiwan and Vietnam could allow me to easily assimilate into the community. 



2. Briefly tell us about the program you are studying. What subjects are you studying? What have you enjoyed the most in your studies?



As mentioned earlier, my degree is about human resources management. In this program, I learn lots of theories about organizational behavior, research methods, human resources management and work and culture, etc. I like study of organizational behavior most because I can understand how people think and react in different ways, in turn, come up with schemes for managing human resources so far.



3. How is studying in Taiwan when compared to studying and being a student in your home country? (Teaching Quality、Environment、School Equipment、Laboratory or others)



I can say that studying in Taiwan is better than compared to my home country in terms of all aspects. Specifically, library has a variety of books and self-studying spaces; classmates come from many countries which allow me to enrich my cultural knowledge; competent lecturers with dedication to teaching students.



4. What has been the most difficult part about applying to study in Taiwan? How did you overcome the difficulty?



I think there are no difficulties when applying to study in Taiwan. All required documents are clearly posted on the website and you just follow those steps in sequence.



5. What do you plan to do after you have finish your studies in Taiwan? Would you like to stay in Taiwan?  Why? 



After graduation, I plan to find a job here and might stay in Taiwan for several years. Because the salary level in Taiwan is higher than in my country. Besides, I am interested in learning Chinese and want to improve it by staying here.



6. How do you think studying in Taiwan can benefit you in your future career?



In my opinion, obtaining a degree with high rankings might give me more opportunities in my future career. Moreover, knowing Chinese language also create a competitive advantage in comparison with other applicants when applying for a job vacancy.



7. What do you see as your key achievements when studying in Taiwan?



1. Improve English and learn new language (Chinese); 

2. Experience when leaving abroad;

3. Learn how to overcome difficulties and adapt to different situations;



8. What advice do you have for other interested overseas students who want to come to Taiwan to study?



They should be well prepared for Chinese before studying Taiwan in order to get into the community.
