My name is Tina. I am a student at Ming Chuan University. I came to Taiwan 3 years ago. I am interested in accounting and this is why I am in the program of International Business and Trade. I love Taiwanese foods and I like Taiwanese people a lot. I wish I can stay here and work in Taiwan in the future.



1. What made you decide to study in Taiwan?



Taiwan is a nice country with nice weather, nice people, and nice foods. Also, there have many excellent programs for international students, like the one I am studying at Ming Chuan University. I learned many things in Taiwan not only from my university but also from Taiwanese people. People in Taiwan are so nice. They always help others anytime and anywhere without any conditions. That really touches me.



2. Briefly tell us about the program you are studying. What subjects are you studying? What have you enjoyed the most in your studies?



I am studying in the Departmentof International Business and Trade. The goal of This program is to cultivate students’ expertise in business disciplines with global mobility. My favorite part of this program is Business theories and application which tells me how to make money, build my own business, and evaluate the value of money.



3. How is studying in Taiwan when compared to studying and being a student in your home country? (Teaching Quality、Environment、School Equipment、Laboratory or others)



Come to Taiwan and Study in Taiwan is the best decision in my life. Universities in Taiwan, compared with in Vietnam, provide more advanced equipment and teaching technologies. Teachers’ teaching strategies are more innovative also. More important, Taiwanese teachers are very supportive, carrying, and enthusiastic that makes me easier to learn and to adapt to a new living environment.



4. What has been the most difficult part about applying to study in Taiwan? How did you overcome the difficulty?



I did not meet any trouble when applying to study in Taiwan. However, as I know, a lot of Vietnamese people want to study in Taiwan. Unfortunately, because their GPA is not high enough, they cannot get the admission. I think if you want to come to Taiwan, you need to have a plan beforehand. Study hard and make your GPA good enough. Then you can get the admission successfully



5. What do you plan to do after you have finish your studies in Taiwan? Would you like to stay in Taiwan?  Why? 



I will find a job in Taiwan which is associated with my profession in Business. I really want to stay in Taiwan because Taiwan has many opportunities for me to develop myself and improve my ability. I believe that Taiwan can help me to fulfill my dream.



6. How do you think studying in Taiwan can benefit you in your future career?



Taiwan is a strong country in finance and economy. Many Taiwanese companies go oversea to do business that provides many opportunities for future jobs for foreign students.



7. What do you see as your key achievements when studying in Taiwan?



The biggest gain is “understanding”. I understand how Taiwanese work and their working cultures. I understand that Taiwan really provides many opportunities for people and I understand that I can improve my ability in many ways in Taiwan.



8. What advice do you have for other interested overseas students who want to come to Taiwan to study?



Welcome to Taiwan. I believe that if you come to Taiwan and study, your future will be bright and colorful. Come here with us to learn many good things, enhance abilities, and catch good opportunity together.
