I was born in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. There are five people in my family. They are my dad, my mom, two sisters and me. I’m the youngest sister in my family. I received a bachelor degree from Chulalongkorn University in Photographic science and Printing Technology.

1. What made you decide to study in Taiwan?

I would like to develop my abilities and improve language both English and Mandarin Chinese. In addition, Taiwan government provides the scholarship for the foreigner students so I think it is a good opportunity. 

2.  Briefly tell us about the program you are studying. What subjects are you studying? What have you enjoyed the most in your studies?

Currently, I’m studying Global MBA which provides a solid background for work in the business area. For example, marketing management, international marketing, global supply chain management and global business management. Most enjoyable while studying here is I have improved my interpersonal and presentation skills. Most courses in GMBA require students to present, discuss and work with other students in a group. That made me feel more confident and comfortable presenting in front of the class from now on.

3. How is studying in Taiwan when compared to studying and being a student in your home country? (Teaching Quality、Environment、School Equipment、Laboratory or others)

From my perspective, I think the most important for being a student in Taiwan. I have a chance to work with people from different countries. I have learned from them and have got some new ideas.

For the Global MBA courses, I have much more chance to go a field trip to observe what start-up companies doing their business. These useful experiences allowed me to apply knowledge in the real world and real business situations.

4.  What has been the most difficult part about applying to study in Taiwan? How did you overcome the difficulty?

I think the most difficult part to apply the application is the documents. Since there are many documents need to be collected and all of official documents should be notarized by the R.O.C. (Taiwan) Embassy and consular division. Therefore, it takes time to wait and complete the submission before the deadline. However, I tried to overcome the difficulty by trying to prepare all the documents earlier after the university announces the application period.

5.  What do you plan to do after you have finish your studies in Taiwan? Would you like to stay in Taiwan?  Why? 

I plan to get a challenging and innovative job in the international market according to my idea and my skills in the near future, especially in sales and marketing field. I hope that I can find a job in Taiwan first because it will be a good opportunities for me to have the international experiences and also will be able to improve my Chinese skills in a Mandarin-speaking environment.

6.  How do you think studying in Taiwan can benefit you in your future career?

While studying in Taiwan, I look forward to pursuing my passion for management and exploring every single related aspect. I have gained an experience by participating in extracurricular activities in the university. Studying in Taiwan has become a bridge connecting people from many different countries. I am very fortunate to have made friends with many people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Not only in the classroom, but also in our personal discussions about our lives. It is a shortcut for me to explore the world. I strongly believe that studying in Taiwan will serve my purpose of achieving my short-term and long-term goals.

7.  What do you see as your key achievements when studying in Taiwan?

Studying in Taiwan not only be able to utilize new ways to integrate my practice of business leadership with the academic education, but also able to establish my international network around the world.

8. What advice do you have for other interested overseas students who want to come to Taiwan to study?

I would strongly advise them to come to Taiwan for studying. Mostly Taiwan universities have several talented professors with doctorate degrees from United State and England. They are all genuinely dedicated to making sure the students understand the content matter. Besides, you will hear different perspectives from a global standpoint. Studying in Taiwan is a great way to learn Chinese, explore a culture other than your own while sharing your own culture with others.
