The Institute of Oceanography at National Taiwan University, established in 1968, houses four specialized divisions dedicated to advancing marine sciences through interdisciplinary research and education. Finally, the Division of Marine Biology and Fisheries explores marine biodiversity, ecosystem functions, and fisheries science, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical solutions for sustainable management and conservation efforts.
