The major mission in this center is to organize research teams and promote integrated research projects. For achieving this goal, the Research Center for Advanced Agricultural Biotechnology and food technology related institutes need to support one another. Certificate Programs of Biotechnology in the Center for Biotechnology and Certificate Programs of Food Technology in the Institute of Food Science and Technology and some other related departments support teaching jobs for students in this center. All research results will be transferred to industry through Administration and Planning Divisions. We believe that research resources including manpower and facilities can be integrated through close collaboration between several related units within our school as shown in the diagram below. The integration can help to enhance the energy of research and the power of competition so the goal of transferring outstanding research results to industry and the commercialization of these research results can be achieved.
