"TIGP is jointly organized by Academia Sinica in association with Taiwan’s key national research universities. The program offers Ph.D. degree programs and provides all-English advanced-education environments for young academic talent from Taiwan and abroad.

The Interdisciplinary Neuroscience (INS) graduate program welcomes highly motivated and energetic Ph.D. students dedicated to the integrated study of neuroscience. This revolutionary approach to neuroscience incorporates chemistry, molecular and cellular biology, physiology, imaging, and computer science to discover the causes and explore efficacious treatments of neurological and psychiatric disorders. This program trains students in how to approach neuroscience research using a multidisciplinary approach. This program stresses the importance of collaboration and interactivity among colleagues to produce better outcomes in neuroscience research. INS has expanded its repertoire to include research into cell and molecular neurobiology, clinical medicine, systems neuroscience, neural imaging and engineering, and cognitive and computational neuroscience. A diverse yet advanced curriculum is offered from these five campuses to enrich the learning process. Students are encouraged to initiate and participate in collaborative research projects among labs of different disciplines. In combination with seminars, symposia, and retreats, INS provides an active and flexible learning environment to help students reach their highest potential."
