Global Undergraduate Program in Semiconductors (GUPS) is a full English undergraduate program with a specialized focus on semiconductor technology. Semiconductors constitute the prevailing and future global technological trend, and Taiwan stands as a world leader in semiconductor technology, boasting a comprehensive upstream and downstream supply chain. The primary objective and orientation of this program are the cultivation of exceptional professionals with international expertise in semiconductors. Leveraging fundamental courses in physics, mathematics, electrical and electronic engineering, information technology, and materials science, the program integrates a core knowledge base in semiconductors. Additionally, this program provides students with the opportunity to engage in internships within the Taiwan workforce during their academic journey. This enables them to gain valuable insights into Taiwan's industries, establish local connections, and enhance their prospects for future employment in Taiwan.
